Mike and Sully, two potbellies who came from Southern California, were born at a backyard breeding farm where the conditions had rapidly deteriorated into a hoarding situation. When the breeder was evicted from the property, these two were left behind with a number of other pigs and dogs. Left without food, water, or any care, their story may have had a much different ending. Fortunately, two local rescuers brought them to their horse pasture while they worked to find a long term home for the pair.

Sweet Farm quickly stepped in to provide a safe, loving, permanent family for Mike and Sully. Taking a few months to adjust to their new lives and learning to trust people, they are now running around in our pastures with their fellow pig friends, rooting around, taking lots of naps, and enjoying many veggies treats, especially strawberries from their caretakers.
