Old lady Millie came to us from yet another sanctuary having to close its doors. Sweet Farm welcomed 25 animals from Here With Us Sanctuary in late 2024. After our sweet Greta lost her bestie, Astrid, this summer, we knew we needed new friends for her. So when we saw Rosie and Millie needed a new home, we were so excited because they look so much like Greta!
Birds of a feather" isn't just a cliché - it's a true statement! Human and non-human animals naturally gravitate towards those who physically resemble us. And since Millie was an older lady like Astrid, we hoped she and Greta would bond...and we were right! Millie fits right into Astrid's role as aunt to Greta's two boys, too!
